AGUILAS HAT EMBROIDERED WITH GOLD THREAD

This felt hat, resplendent in the Charrería Museum Collection, is a true masterpiece of the milliner's art. Its fine pile weave hosts an exquisite display of detail, from the intricate embroidery and gold canutillo embroidery to the majestic presence of ten national eagles. A hologram with the letters "CP" on the crown adds a touch of mystery and distinction.

Every inch of this hat tells a story of master craftsmanship. The embroidery and embroidery, resplendent with gold thread, narrate a saga of skill and dedication. Ten imperial eagles, symbols of power and freedom, adorn the hat, with four embroidered on the top and four more perfectly mirrored on the underside of the brim.

This hat, from the 1930s, is a tangible testimony to an era of elegance and sophistication in charro fashion. Every thread and every stitch evokes the splendor of those times, when attention to detail and quality were the hallmark.

The hat carries with it a golden thread cord chinstrap, which not only adds a functional element, but also a touch of opulence and elegance. The tassels that adorn it complete this accessory in a majestic way. The toquilla, matching the chinstrap, is another testament to the luxury and attention to detail that characterize this unique piece.

This hat, bearer of a rich history and undeniable artistic value, was generously donated by Don Gonzalo N. Santos, who recognized in this piece the reflection of a tradition that must be preserved and appreciated. His contribution to the museum's collection ensures that this masterpiece will continue to captivate and educate future generations about the richness and beauty of charrería.
